Pizza- no good pizza in your area....Chicago pizza FTMFW!
Mexican- I really liked Abuelos, not to mention their portions were tremendous!
Local- Athens Coney Island....something about it, just like their food.

Italian - Pasticcios (Little Italy - Windsor) Most authentic you'll find outside of Italy!
Mexican - Taqueria Mi Pueblo (7278 Dix St, Detroit- Mexican Town) Not watered down AMerimex like everwhere else - Border Cantina is a joke!
Chinese - Still looking for a GOOD one, but Leong's on either Gratiot and 21 or on 23 Mile Rd in Chesterfield is OK.
Steak - Mr. Pauls Chop House (Groesbeck Hwy, Roseville) - Amazing Prime Rib and on-the-spot-made Caesar salads.
Thai - Thai Bang Kok - 9737 Joseph Campau, Hamtramck - Kick ass Thai Curry Noodles!
Coney - Lipuma's on Rochester Rd in Downtown Rochester. Tiny joint but the SH!ZZLE! It's next to the Cold Creek Tavern.
Greek - my Mum's house...or Pegasus in Greek Town - not perfect but as goods as it gets around here.
Indian - Raja Rani's in the Ace Deuce.
Middle Eastern - Beirut Palace in Royal Oak

i'm sure they will. My friend used to work there and when he'd get out of work we'd tell him that he couldn't show up unless he brought breadsticks, then he'd show up with two HUGE bags of them, oh man, soooo good.:drool:

I actually have...I live about a mile from there and about 2 years ago, when the original owners were still there their breadsticks and pizza was SOO GOOD, and now with the 2nd or 3rd set of owners, it is just not the same at all...
