cheap horsepower

cheap horsepower

If you want a sleeper, a can of nitrous oxide and some injectors are the way to go. Cheap $$ per horsepower added. Well that is until the engine blows up.

you can get an svt exhaust for almost nothing like $100 local. and then swap the resonator for a cherry bomb and youve got a decent exhaust that will sound GREAT!!! granted its not as good as a trubendz but a svt exhaust plus installation of a cherry bomb your looking at like $150 to $200 where a trubendz is usually in the $500 area if not more for borla.

and get an intake and take out the mesh inside your MAF i actually felt an increase when i did that, it was weird though my screen in the MAF was very dirty and almost looked like the link screen from a dryer, it wasnt bad but there was some gok there.

ugh, i hate those cherry bomb things. hope you like backfiring.

btw, that lint in your maf comes from having an old air filter. it gets frayed and blows lint just like clothes in a drier. that's why you change them often, and also why you don't take out the mesh screen! that's the last step in protecting the injectors from foreign debris.

not necessarly true with backfiring glass packs. I had a high flow cat and glass pack on my Tempo and i could revv it up to 6000 RPM with minimal back firing and the car red lined at 5500. Id just get little crackels and pops.

it was definantly between 5700 and 6000 RPM in that video on the second revv, the first one was only 3500... you can even see it move the camera!!!! and i dont see wats wrong w/ a tempo... That Tempo woulda kicked the **** out of my Zetec day in and day out

I'd say go with black and gold, I have tried numerous combinations, and have realized that the black and gold really sets the car off.
