Best window tint to buy...?

Is there any brands out there that are better than others? I think I'm gonna do like a 35% tint. If I were to have it done professionaly, about how much would it be? Would it be worth the money?
 
Mine cost $140 for 20% all around. They didn't have much of a selection of tint per se, but they guarentee their work for life. :cool:
 
tint job is way worth the money especially to find a quality place, i had mine done on my taurus at the MA state police garage, i measured it and the tint is about 1 milimeter from the edge of the window, its so close, where as a performance shop down the street did my buddys and left like 3/4's of an inch inbetween the tint and the window.
 
do not do it yourself, like everyone is saying find a good place to do it for between $150 - $200 with a lifetime gurantee. My dad has a friend who does this stuff using titanium film, his car has 5% rear, 13% i think up front. Very nice, and it's guranteed.

I plan to do mine when I get more birthday money, and a mirror bracket for my gentex mirror.
 
Lumar tint is the best IMHO. THere are others that are good alos. Since i have tinted many cars. I def would go lumar tint over others i have tried.

Don't buy the autopart/walmart tint that they sell. what is it called? Sunglass tint or something lol. That chit is junk. It looks decent and goes on okay. It doesn't hold it's color long so it fades. Doesn't block heat after a while and uv rays lol barley stops that from coming threw also. Stay with what is tried and proven. Lumar ftw.

Heck if i was going to SZ i was gonna buy tons of rolls of tint 0-50%. Head up to grandrapids to tint some peoples cars. Too bad i can't make it:blackeye:
