I've already done a ton of searching of the forum and have come up with nothing so far. The question is "What is the bolt diameter and thread pitch needed to mount a 2.5L or 3.0L on a typical engine stand?" I can figure out the length, I just don't have a sample bolt to measure and am not ready to go pulling bolts off my SVT to find out the hard way. The Ford service manual does not mention the bolt size, just the torque specs.

Thanks.

give me a day and i will have the motor out of this im doing a 3L in and I can get you size for the bellhousing bolts if no one has posted it before then.

I just got bolts for my 3L bell housing yesterday and they're 10mm diameter and the thread pitch I can't remember off the top of my head but it's the most common thread pitch for the 10mm

I actually just went back to the hardware store cuz the bolts I got to mount my engine weren't long enough. They are 10mm X 1.50mm and however long you need. Also just a tip, I was mounting it to the stand and I felt the bell housing bolts were too high so I put two on the very top and put two through bolts where the dowels are to give it more bottom support.
