Pulled the Contour out of winter storage and when I stepped on the brakes it pulled hard to the right every time , Knowing the age of my 'tour I figured a hose went bad and was stopping fluid from returning or a bad caliper. I replaced calipers/hoses both sides at my buddies shop, Everything bleed fine. Test drove it and it pulled to the right again . Called parts store they are getting caliper/hose for that side incase faulty out of the box but me I think it's a shot in the dark.

I have ABS with traction control. My question is does the contour with ABS have proportioning valves/block or does it run through the ABS pump ? I'm wondering if the pressure is uneven and causing that side to stick.

It drives fine and brakes are not dragging just happens when I step on the brake. Any insight would be great .

Still pulls. Put it on my friends computer at his ship. Cycled the abs unit at first front brakes wouldn't cycle but eventually it started . Did a full fluid exchange and teh pump acted up again. Test drove still same results. Ordered NOS pump from Green sales . Car was alignment last year late spring car was fine drove perfect. We checked tires and suspension all good so it's hydraulic related . Hoping new pump assembly works .

Mine also does the same thing, but I'm chalking it up to the passive rear steering bushings being old and wayyy to soft. The reason I say this is because it doesn't feel like the front is pulling, it always feels like the back. I picked up a set of the massive speed systems toe arms, and energy suspension control arm bushings so I can fix both the pulling issues and the horrendous rear tire wear these cars have from all the toe in.

My car was doing this and it was due to a bad bushing in the control arms. Check and see if the rubber is cracked.

Control arms are fine. Recent bat struts and strut bearings . Waiting for a non rainy/stormy day to get to shop for abs pump ( car doesn't see rain unless I get caught in it when out )

Installed pump ( pia had to pull booster ) and defective. hooked computer up to cycle pump and only passenger side would bleed driver side would not pump fluid . Green sales not being very helpful but trying to work it out . will update soon.

New pump installed and happy to report all is good. Took car out today for a 75 mile round trip on back roads. Car stopped straight and true no issues. Finally this project is over and now I can drive it .
