will a small car cover fit my csvt? I was looking on the back of the box and it said medium fit 95-97 contours. small says cars under 15 feet and i measured my svt and its like 15'2''

the reason i dont just buy a medium is cause theres 3 brands where im looking, $25, $45 and a $65, the only medium is in the $65 brand, and theres a small for $25.

will a small cover fit an svt?

Yeah I think the problem you'll find with the small cover meant for a 95-97 is that it won't cover the SVT bumpers and sideskirts well enough. Heck, we own a Ford one meant for the SVT and it's still a tad too small.

see if you can shop around for another medium.

or you would be better off not getting a cheap cover. get one that is meant for the car and it will fit well.

and yes one for a standard contour will not fir the svt correctly because of the difference in bumpers.

I picked up a Rain-X weather proof car cover for my Mystique and it fits ok, it's a medium. But seeing you have an SVT, the sides MIGHT not go down far enough for the skirts.
I have my car sitting in my carport but it sticks out like 2 feet and I gotta watch the front so it doesn't get blown off, I just tuck it behind the bumper as best I can.
I see you found a $65 one, I paid just about that for mine and I'm happy with it. It comes with a bag to put the cover in when not in use and a cable and lock so the cover doesn't blow off.

I also recommend not going with the lowest cost brand for the reason that it may not breathe very well. We had bought one of the 20-30$ brand ones for one of our cars and it didn't breathe, so in winter on a warm day it would sweat and the moisture would get "stuck" in there and it would stay damp then freeze. Since then I have bought the 60-70$ ones from Fleet Farm/Walmart and they seem to work fine.

I say this cover on eBay last week. It winds up into its own container. And then to install you hook one end on car and unwind out of same canister.

Not sure if the quality is any good but it takes away my biggest complaint about car covers. Covers always very awkward and dirty to install, remove and stow away.

Watch the video link. Not a cheap price but not too bad either

Does the canister stay attached when the cover is on the car? How does it protect against theft?
I'm laughing at the thought of someone not tall enough dragging that entire canister over their car while trying to cover it.

if that thing actually works and is a decent material that would be pretty cool. Although being waterproof i guess it also wouldnt be breatheable. So, if the car is staying in a covered area so it won't be rained/snowed on i think you would be better off with a breathable so moisture doesn't build up, if its outside maybe a water proof one is better. I don't know for sure though.

PS: Maybe someone sould invent an air matress like that since those things, like car covers, are a PITA to try and get back into the bag that they send with it.

well I have a wolf tech I think it is, and it fits like a glove, u can't see not 1 part ogf the car, other then i bottom half of the wheels and tires, can't remember the name really

I bought one from Costco for 35.00 and fits fine...Only drawback is its not lockable....I mainly use it to keep the water spots off from the lawn sprinklers.........

I bought one off Ebay that was SVT specific. It even had two heavy duty patches right over where the dual exhaust was. Scott (Bagged) got a badass one. I think it was included with one of his car purchases but it is VERY high quality, and fits like a condom

I got a nice waterproof cover from Schucks/Checker/Craigen before Oriley bought them. It was expensive 90 bucks i think but it fits perfect and also fits my 91 5.0 very well, just a bit tighter. Has the 2 eye holes or whatever to attach twine and run it under the car to keep from loosing it in the wind. It is waterproof buy with my top down it had so much condensation i had a bit of a mold problem:nonono:

I roll my car back a few feet when I water the front section. I dont like to start it up so sometimes it just sits in the middle of the lot if the wheel didnt feel like turning to get into an actual spot.
