on my way home from school i was in the turning lane and this old ass lady with her husband from Flordia in a Chevy Avalanche was in the lane to go straight, and after i started moving, she decided she wanted to turn as well, and well, she didnt look and hit the car. i'm really P.O.ed right now so yea. cops came, didnt site her cuz "as long as you've exchaned information, you're fine. thats why they call them accidents." Anyway's here are the pics.

It looks like it is time to go to a JY and find some Champagne doors... That pin-stripe will be hard to match... Maybe you will get enough money from the insurance company to have it repainted, since you can replace the doors by yourself...

no i dont want a 3L, i put about 85-100 miles on the car a day, and i'm getting about 36 mpgs average. i cant let that up.


are contour and mystique ding guards the same for the pre 98's?

this is my first accident with another driver that needed to be reported, so should i get the money and do it myself?
 
sorry to see that. i'd advice u took the money. go to the most expensive bodyshop u can find and get a quote. since u both exchanged info, u should be good. she probably wouldnt wanna let her ins know so that her premium doesnt rise. so she'd probably write u a check for the cost to fix. take the money and pick up another door from a junkyard, and u should have more left over. that way, u'd be able to do whatever else it is that u've been wanting to do to ur mystique for a while now. my advice???? WHEELS!:laugh: i hate to be so sinister when it comes to insurance issues. i just simply have no empathy towards them cos of how they treat their customers and how they are always tryn to slither their way out of paying up:mad:
 
oh great, now we get to see another picture-filled thread of when its in the body shop getting fixed, then another one after its done, and then another one after that when you buy wheels with the insurance money. but anyways, sorry to hear about your accident
 
it'd be nice to buy wheels, but i just wanna get the car fixed and pay off school if i have any left over. no i'm not gonna do body shop pics and all that :censored::censored::censored::censored:, i'll do an after pic and that'll be it.
 
i think the highlight of the whole thing was my gfs reaction when i called her at work, but even though i was laughing at her, i'm still upset about it.

ouch man, that sucks.

I would be totally ticked if someone did that.

But i must say, at least you will be getting money out of it, and the people didn't run or you weren't at a store and someone did it, and you come outside to find it. The doer long gone. That would suck majorly.
