has anyone ever done it? i took the cover off today, cuz i thought the reflector would just pop right out but i was wrong. is there a way to do it?
thanks,
Mark

its a old school ceg mod,you need to carve out the oragne part w/a carbide bit or dremel. but becareful,if you get the lense too hot it spider cracks

The amber lense is actually molded in with the reflector. You'll have to do it like 95pgt said. After you drill it all out the remaining plastic is extremely thin, so you have to be really careful.

That looks like a silver sticker not a clear corner. It's like having silver paint instead of actually chrome on something. I mean it beats the amber corner.

actulay the effect the reflective tape gives at night is quite good looking. depending on the brightness of the light hitting it the tape shines as brights as my head lights

in most states (maybe all) you are required to have turn signals that can be seen from the sides of the car. by covering up the corner light with the vinyl, people can no longer see the turn signal from the side. not to mention it looks like :censored::censored::censored::censored:.
