As stated above, this problem occured in a very odd situation. I was merging onto the highway yesterday and I was just cruising. Out of no where the car just suddenly changes its tone, the exhaust sounds uber loud, like a subaru with exhaust, and I lose power. I got off and managed to get the car to a Bank where upon inspection the engine was shaking violently indicating a missfire and the cat was showing hints of glowing red. The CEL had at the time also come on. I ended up getting the car towed home. Today I started the car and it started fine, idled fine. Took out all the plugs and they seemed fine as well, took the car to auto zone and they pulled the code P0352 "Ignition Coil B Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction"

my coil pack is 5 months old, also upon researching this code, there were a bunch of options that came up for this code. Any help would be appreciated, good think I have my old coil pack as well which I havent put on yet..thanks

None of the ground wires on the coil pack had come loose, had they? I'm guessing not, but just trying to start w/ easy stuff 1st. Good luck with it.

You may have a bad or defective coil. Check/change it.

In addition, from PCED,

Check spark plug wires for insulation damage, looseness, shorting or other damage.
l Remove and check spark plugs for damage, wear, carbon deposits and proper plug gap.
l Examine all wiring harnesses and connectors for damaged, burned or overheated insulation, damaged pins, and loose or broken conditions.

I think i found out whats was at faut. All this seemed quite odd to me why everything felt fine today. I went out for a nother test drive, this time driving aggresivly..on first redline, the exact thing happened where the sound changed and I lost power once again. The CEL came on and it started flashing, I was close to home so I slowly got the car back..while the car was still running I was checking all the connections, the engine was shaking really hard. The cat underneath seemed fine, not glowing red. When I went to the coilpack and pressed on the wiring harness that connects to it, the engine popped and went back to idling normally. Shut off the car and took that plug out, come to find out that the orange rubber insulator from the old coilpack was still stuck on the plug thus when I put it in the new coilpack which already had that and I didnt really bother looking, the plug never locked in properly because both pieces were in the way so that made the whole plug springy. After I took one of the pieces out, the plug plugged in smoothly and locked right in, went for another test drive redlining the car and all and nothin happened, although the CEL is still on, i think that will go away sooner or later..hopefully this was it..

Cool. Resetting the ECU may eliminate the CEL. As a side note, the ignition systems seem to hate you. Just kiddin, glad you figured it out.

Goonz,

Don't feel bad. My 94 SHO had the cam sensor double-gasketed when I bought it. ...and I think I had installed that sensor a few years ago for the PO...
