hmmmmm 2 door contour... wonder if itd work? obviously there would be big modifications and some fabricating but i think it would look bada$$

I'm disappointed in this thread. I thought it was going to be about a hot older woman with a Contour!
Uhm... wait... what about that photo pf a car behind a chain-link fence with a swapped front end? Wasn't that a Cougar with a Contour front end? or was it vice versa?

if anyone made it, i would need to talk to them about getting the front end of their cougar for the 'tour.....think about it a 4 door cougar, also maybe molding the cougar tailights into the trunk and qtrs

i had a drunk ass 35 yr old dance on my hood at the race track,(before i wrecked the first time, when it was still a mystique) she wasnt drop dead gorgeous but i woulda tapped it

The front of the door you loser :laugh:. I'm not on drugs, I seriously think with some modification this could be done. I think the biggest issue is that the Cougar fender comes down much farther than the Contour fender and the "surface" of the fender is smoother and doesn't curve inward at the bottom as far as the Contour's....

this wouldnt be a project for someone who does not have access to some metal working materials. all youd have to do from the looks of it would be to cut a cougar fender above the wheel well and the same with a contour and weld them together. basic rear quarter panel body work. then measure if a contour hood would fit. id almost be tempted to go with a post 98 mystique front end as the aggressive hood would flow better with a cougar's body lines. the grill would just have to be made to look a little more aggressive. or theres an idea! someone want to make the mystique hood work on a contour? id be in for it!
