Contour Supercharger Test subject

ahhh i disagree with the torque comment chris...... my car made 295 on the dyno before it blew and i could make that hook i agree your car has wicked spin.......... i just don't see any amount of power ever being too much.

Were you spraying immediately off the line? If not that would be why you were able to get traction.

Yeah i thought nitrous doesn't spray in first on our cars. Well puff the contour svt didn't have it programed that way

You can spray whenever you want. Usually it's just hooked up to a switch that activates at WOT so if you didn't wanna spray in first just don't put it to the floor til you've made it to second or just don't flip the switch til second. Otherwise you can get fancier than that too, there are controllers that can do only certain rpms in certain gears.

I've known people to spray right off the line but I don't think TRicker was... not sure though.

He had a button setup on the shifter that worked pretty damn slick IMO - He was spraying in 2nd when I was riding around with him.

I understand you can always change the settings:laugh: .
Thats kinda like a given:cool:

I just never seen anyone in our cars do anything with nitrous in 1st gear

That's because it doesn't work well at all. I tried it once and spun like mad and had to get off the throttle super quick because I was approaching fuel cut-off extremely quick. Fuel cut-off + nitrous = bad news.

But if you have window switches then wouldnt the nitrous cut out also. I thought it was almost a requirement for window switches. But I get your point though. :D

I agree 100%. That is why i never see anyone run it in our cars in 1st gear. It would be pointless to do so.

i'm starting to wonder if this guy is just screwing with us. theres no way he can fail this much intentionally
