Craigslist parts car

damn thats a steal. I would totally put down a few hundred if a few more people so cal wants to go in on that :D

nah seriously just call me up so i can buy parts from ya..

I just sent an email to the guy. I'd be willing to put in a bucks. What parts are people looking for?
I asked him for some pics so I'll post if he responds.

i could use a silver front bumper, some interior parts, basically whatever is good i will want :D

edit: just call the guy; number is there

I'll take the interior & the computer if anyone local buys the car.

The wife would kill me if I brought home a totaled car, I just sold off a Triumph TR7 convertible project car that sat around for 10 years.

I just got an email from the guy asking me to call him. I'll post up what I find when I call him tomorrow.

I spoke to the guy and it sounds like a deal. Minor front crash, damage to condenser and radiator, airbags blew, everything else is good. He said its brand new, stickers still on the windows. I have the cash to buy this thing, but I will want to sell some parts asap. PM me if you want something.

Does anyone know of good storage places. I think I have pretty well decided to get it as long as its as good as described. I am hoping to go see it tomorrow at lunch time. I am going to need to rent a garage to store it in though.

id also be interested in taking the car to part out. i have the storage space for it. i just wasnt sure there would be enough interest in the parts. i wonder if the thing can be made to run again... if its that "minor"
that must be a brand new motor and trans in that thing.

i also have a truck and can rent a trailer. if you want me to take it let me know.

Hey clean out your PMs. I just tried to send you one and it said your mailbox is full.
I still need to find storage space, maybe we can team up on it?

Update

Update

So I went to see the car just now and lets just say I was a little disappointed. To start with its a E0 not an E1. Has only 337 miles on the clock. Hood was removed, so engine has been exposed for 8 years or so but still didn't look too bad. Side skirts were off, rear bumper is damaged, reflector has been removed from trunk lid, shift knob removed.
Engine, tranny and exhaust are all there and look good, interior is pristine and all glass is good.
At this point I'm out but if someone else buys it I'm interested in the glass.
I'll post pics when I get home tonight.

i was just talking to John the SHO guy about picking upt his car and parting it out. that motor must be like brand new  too bad the side skirts and rear bumper are damaged, thats good money right there. ill definitely be looking in to this. if we pick it up, ill save the glass for ya. perhaps we can pull it before we tow the thing back up here.

Here are the pics. I only had my phone with me but they get the idea across.
