CSVT#5959 got in an accident today

I'm sorry about your car.
Hope you are OK.

I can tell you this, I have personally seen Ryan's (Guitarman) car and it looks damn good. If he hadn't told me that it was totaled, I would not have known. Whoever fixed it did a very good job.

x2. One of the prettiest T-reds I've seen.

Good to know. I've know someone who went to small claims court over something like $3500 in damages from an accident when they didn't have collision. From what I remember, all they used as evidence was a police report, so this makes sense. It was up to the Judge I guess and it was a pretty clear cut example of someone not paying attention and running into the back of another car.

Just like to know what my options are since I took collision off my beater reacently.
What usually happens as best I understand, is that if its pretty clear about who was at fault then the insurance company of the at fault driver will usually try and settle to avoid extra costs. If you weren't insured they might try and fight it because they have a better legal team, but in general they try and stay out of the courts unless they are confident they will win.
And remember that a settlement is negotiated so you don't have to take their first offer.
