CTA Motorsports Zetec Intake Kit (We may start making them again, but...)

Price will not be as low as the first kits. I already explained why, the 90 degree elbow costs a bundle. :(

Where are you sourcing the couplers from? What size coupler are you using?

ATP Turbo (www.atpturbo.com) has some fairly cheap black couplers;
90 degree, 3" to 3" = $24
90 degree, 2.5" to 3" = $17.50

I'm thinking the 2.5" to 3" would be prefered so as to fit the throttle body properly. The 3" to 3" will fold a bit when clamped to the throttle body.

2.75" to 3" is best, that's what I have, but is hard as hell to find. And it was more than twice the price of either of thoe options above.

We deal with ATP, however, once the parts come to Canada, the price isn't so cheap any longer. I hear you on the 2.75" to 3" transition, not very common, 2.5 will be very tight to fit over the Zetec throttle body. I am still researching sources for the couplers.

Finally tooks some pics

Finally tooks some pics

Here we go folks, prototype intake pics, 6 wire MAF version shown with black elbow/coupling. MAF support bracket is there, but hidden in the pic behind the intake pipe.

Mmmmmm...purdy. :drool: :drool: :drool:

BP, was that a 90deg transition? I couldn't find one on the site you linked...just regular transtion hoses and 90deg hoses.

Ooops. I didn't realize that you wanted a 90 degree with a built in transition. I used a 2.75" elbow and a 2.75" to 3" transition.

I think we are going to keep the full 3" elbow, supply a reducer ring to fit inside, then this gives the opportunity for the elbow to fit oversized TB's without having to get a new elbow.
