I'm looking to get a custom stainless steal exhaust done, Ive been searching everywhere, and sence I dont have much experience, im hopeing for some advice.

First off, a 3.0l and a turbo kit may be a future possiblitly and I want the custom exhaust to work well, with and without the either of thoses two. My exhaust now is stock except for removed resonator and main cat.

I was thinking about a straight 3" pipe going from the y-pipe, under the fuel tank, and splitting into two 2.25" going to the two mufflers. Im undecided on the mufflers.Ive been looking around for sound clips but, everone has different set ups and the web sites dont offer much. Deffenetly dont want a 4-banger ricer sound!

What I would like to know is,
Aprox. how much pipe of both the 3" and 2.25" will I need?
How much for a shop to install this?
Would it be better off ordering pipe online, then a shop?
What are your suggestions?

Thanks!

Sounds like a Trubenz is in your needs. Or a custom Truduals exhaust steeda has a GroupBuy going on now for that setup..
www.trubendz.com fairly cheap magnaflow non resonated is what most people have used..To have a shop install it im not sure of prices here in SW FL i can have a shop install it for under 100bucks. You can do it yourself not that hard.

Just a FYI there have been fitment issues but nothing major..

Not, looking for a Trubenz. Ive heard alot of fitment problems and I want something that flowes straight under the gas tank... I dont feel like buying a $525 exhaust just to have to cut it all up anyhow..

As for the true duals.. I want something that will work with the turbo if I ever get the funds!

Well you dont need to spend 525 for a trebendz you really dont need a 3" cat-back honestly. Also its very minor fitment issues
I dont know of anyone who has threw a 3" straight pipe under there car and ran it clear to the back..Hopefully someone will chime in shortly.

Wait tell you do the turbo kit, then get the exhaust done at the same time. That way your not killing your performance now.

Plus, 3" exhaust on an NA motor is going to sound like crap.
