Desperation finally sets in!

but we figured out the brake problem, got the alarm sorted out and found about the car haskeyless entry. You check the plug gap and said everythign was in check. so we did get some things figured out ...

oh, there is one remaining question, because of the high compressor should the spark plug gap be alittle tighter then stock spec, or at stock spec? right now they are at stock spec ...

I know I know, I'm just messin' :laugh:. It's pretty exciting that Roger's car is running at full (or nearly full) potential right now. That car is the ULTIMATE sleeper ;). Oh and I don't know if Greg told you but I think backing out of the driveway or something one of those springs gave way and now that brake is ticking really loudly :).

yeah it is .... just need to help him get the new struts installed when he gets them, get the oil leak stopped and a few other things and it will be pretty good
 
I am very happy to see this car running right...

We had tried nearly everything to get it to idle properly and its finally there!!

A few months of trying, and one REALLY long day for me yesterday!! :)

Glad I could finally help you through it!
 
Guess what came back to haunt......

I have a CEL again. I haven't taken the time to see what it is yet. I also have a very distinct gasoline smell. I need to change the o-rings on the injectors.

Well back to driving my wifey to work!

bet it is just for the DPFE sensor .... let me know if you want any help changing those o-rings on the injectors
