Ok, so I've been reading up on the 3.0 Swap in hopes to do one someday. All was good untill I came accross the first pic below that looks just like the factory 2.5 CSVT motor but is supposed to be a 3.0 swap... Then there are other 3.0 swap pics like the one in the second pic, Im Lost....:shrug:

Hybrid uses the 2.5 SVT UIM/LIM, heads, timing gear. Hence the stock look. A straight 3L uses the 3.0L UIM/LIM, heads, timing gear. That is why there is a difference in looks.

Check our web page out below in my sig for more help. We do not build hybrids because of the oiling issues with the 2.5L heads. We build full 3L's like your second picture or we port out the 3L heads so the stock intakes bolt up looking exactly like the top picture.
