drove a full 3L swap....impressed but yet not?

nope just wondering. chris is my friend, i'm not bein an azz to him at all. just wondering, i knew there was a reason. and kyle, i wasnt even using your name because i was tryign to see why it doesnt have the top end like mine. i do forget that i have a tuned fuel curve and bolt ons.....and you just started modding your car. we should find SVT cams though!

I've got no problem with you using my name, or saying that you drove my car. Right now it has to be me dependable daily driver. After I'm done with school, I will have more freedom to do what I want. I'm going to get it dynotuned with the 3L cams in it this March.

As posted earlier the reason for not having the two oil pan to trans bolts is because of the 3L pan on that particular build. Normally I use the 2.5L pan but on that build I went with the 3L pan. I think the pan from the stock engine was blown a part along with the back of the block.

When Kyle picks up a tune he should be more than happy with the results. As he said above I think he was more looking for a reliable daily driver than an all out speed demon anyway. I still think 3L cams are going to be better for daily driving. You won't have to rev the engine all the way up to get the power out of it you want.

I have an escape pan on mine & the oilpan to trans bolts wouldn't line up either.

I just used the 2.5 oilpan with the all the baffling and everything from the escape oil pan. That was on my first 3L anyways.
