DTE Energy Music Theater

s**t... guess you never know anymore. Those Fall Out Boy douchebottles have infiltrated and poisoned many a mind. I suppose I thought Steeda was the latest victim of their black eyeliner and "why doesn't that girl from homeroom love me????" musical hex. :D

LOL Personally Im all about Reel Big Fish:drool:

just an elaboration, but i would call incubus, fall out boy, hoobastank, etc. alternative rock. that may not be what's widely accepted (don't know, cuz i really don't pay attention to categorization of pop culture that much), but that's what i call the bands that have an array of sounds, from a slow emotional song to some harder rock to a solid beat with the rhythmic words.

Their all opinions, no ones is worth more then anyone else's. Some are just more acceptable, like yours. its not putting anyone down.

Jared, please don't tell me the next concert your going to see is Yellowcard:rolleyes:

Drew and Mike voice drop..."never heard of em', NEXT!"

I wouldn't consider Incubus emo by any means.. If you have heard their 'S.C.I.E.N.C.E.' album, you might see the changes they have gone through/different stages of music.

I was gonna try to make it to the concert but, my ride is gone already and I don't have $27 for a lawn ticket

Same here(no money for ticket), oh well their will be other shows

Pine Knob.

It's Pine Knob.

It was Pine Knob, it is Pine Knob, and always will be Pine Knob.

Now stay off of my lawn you whippersnappers!

Incubus? Fall Out Boy? What is this, high school drama class? The best music for PINE KNOB is Buffet, Motely Crue, Seger, the Dead, the Kinks, Steely Dan, Aerosmith, and about 500 other real bands.

Shheeeeeesh....

The thought of a park bench bolted to a truck lid looks amazing. its the back seat you can threaten the kids or anyone else in the car with.

I hate most of the new music scene, I hate these bands like "Plain White T's" and "Yellowcard" and "Fall out boy" I just hate them, Incubus was my first move into the rock direction, and I never regretted it. Beacuse of them I was able to get into a diverse array of music, Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, 311, Mazzy Star, Chevelle, Red hot Chili Peppers, and so on and so fourth.

I hate when people are so quick to judge a band when they dont really know anything about it. Yellowcard and Incubus have nothing in common what so ever, nor is Incubus anywhere near the EMO genre of music, I will admit that Incubus has a couple of more depressing songs, but what band doesnt? I dont care who you are occasionally life is going to get you down, and when you are a musician you take that opportunity to write a song about it. they have been around since the early 90's writing their abstract and inspirational form of music. I love their music because each CD has its unique own sound and feeling to it, while still holding onto the fact that even if you had never heard the CD or knew who it was it would make you think "Yep, thats Incubus"

im probably going to get flamed for that but I dont care, we all have our own taste, I just dislike when people poo poo something based on a song they heard on the radio, not that I am saying that is always the case.

I didn't pay anything for the tickets BTW, they were a birthday present, but I am going to buy some next time, the show was incredible, they put on the best show I cannot believe how much fun it was. I was 10 rows from the front due to the fact that I got presale tickets. The girl I was with had a friend that worked at DTE, unfortunately he wasnt working last night... Or I would have gotten to meet the band
