FEDEX=teh SUCK! Graphic Pics. enjoy my misery

DHL for big stuff that they cant easily toss, then they end up dropping it.

I got my trubendz from a dude in canada via fedex. Got to my house with a tip sticking out of the box and chipped to hell

you know I bet fedex workers wouldn't even use fedex.. maybe we should just boycott all shipping companies and do our own deliveries:) just make it mandatory that the buyer has to suppy beer and a hot woman when you get there.. :) I certainly wouldn't be able to get a package shipped that way.. my fiance would kill me:)

What? really?

Lame.

I didnt see how he packaged it, but im sure it was good.

Was it wrapped in anything?

When i got my kit, one of the tips were sticking out and the box was also mangled to hell.

FedEx?

FedEx?

I had two bad experiences with them this year.

1. I bought a set of headlights (for my truck) on ebay. When they arrived one was broken. I contacted seller... took like 8 weeks before he would ship me a 2nd set. He said he had to wait until the claim was paid by FedEx, which is was eventually. Funny thing was when the 2nd set arrived (via FedEx again) one was broken again!

2. I sold something big and heavy via ebay and shipped it FedEx Ground. It arrived damaged... it was a nightmare claim. They went and picked it up when they were supposed to inspect it, and returned it to me. I never asked for that. Why would I want something broken that I didn't want before it was broken.

To their credit, both claims were paid. There was some waiting time involved. I think on the 2nd one, they wouldn't have paid, but they screwed up with the inspection and a few other things, when I pointed that out to the claims guy a few weeks later, he just said OK. Where do we send the check.

Realistically, FedEx is better at overnighting smaller packages, but for anything larger, UPS or DHL.

I've had only good experiences with FedEx and a few bad ones with UPS. For one, FedEx delivers to my home on Saturdays, UPS never does unless I pay an extra fee. FedEx seems to get whatever I've ordered to me quicker than the other guys.

UPS lost a cordless phone I sent in for repair. I had the last laugh because who ever stole it the thing didn't work anyway - that's why I was sending it in to be fixed.

I know of several bicycling buddies who shipped their expensive bikes via UPS and they never saw them again.

Anyway, no complaints from me about FedEx. If it's good enough for Tom Hanks it's good enough for me.

I guess it is hit or miss with about any package carrier service.. you'd think since the people trust them with their goods that they would make it policy to treat every box like it has glass in it.. wouldn't that be good business? to be known as a package carrier that doesn't break ****? I know I wouldn't mind payin a few extra bucks for the guarantee that my package won't get smashed to hell. **** I'd even tell them I don't care how fast you get it there just don't drop the thing..

I guess it is really hit or miss. I've shipped my titanium mountain bike a few times with UPS without any problems.

Remember that FedEx LOST Tom Hanks. lol

A company such as that is only as good as the worst person they hired. The one driver that drops boxes, or the truck loader that hurries just a bit too fast, the customer service person that can't take the time to actually listen to a question/ complaint.
