well for one you are removing the rubber mounts. so you are going to get a harsher/stiffer ride. They probably still are stronger than the boxed ones.
nice long long term advantage is its servicable. Nothing to wear out that cant be replaced.
There are 2 problems with the 2 bolt arms. 1) the flimsy construction, which boxing helps with; 2) the wrong direction rubber bushings.Guys,
Wouldn't we have the best of both worlds if we simply welded tubing to the stock control arms? They would be stiffer w/o the harshness because the stock bushings would still be used. Just thinking aloud here.
100% interest here i was just about to buy stock replacements, when i step on the gas or let off quick it feels like im riding a bull!!! my bushings and probably the arms them selves are toast.
