I think all you need to do is connect the two points with a piece of metal... My uncle never liked air-bags so he used to take them out on his car and place a tuna can where the driver's air bag was, LOL...

I remember another Guy that did a Fiberglass dash..IIRC his name was somthing like Bmwtour..

its looking pretty good, i only got a little bit done last night though i finished the area around the radio bezel

yep, just pretty much jumped right into it, ive got a pretty good system going with it. i could do one prob. to completion without paint in 3 days with all materials on hand
