Now one of those cars with a DSM engine in it would be extreamly entertaining :) Not that the SC 3800 is anything to sneaze at.....especially with that rather large looking supercharger on it LOL. When you go flying by Bass Lake on Hwy 4 in the summer give a honk.....Fiances parents have a lot there and her aunt and uncle has a house there as well. Good bass fishing in that lake...go figure.

Whats the 3.4 DOHC out of?

The 3.8 Supercharged and 4.3 are cool in my book. Though a supercharged Ecotec could be cool as well.

I think the absolute last engine I'd want on that list is the Quad Four :help: :help: :help: That and of course anything carb :nonono:

Maybe I would buy one and put my 401 Nailhead sitting in the GS in it....but then how the heck would I get an RWD engine/tranny to work in a rear engine designed car LOL

the 3.4 DOHC is out of the grand prix, olds cutlass supreme, and lumina Z34 and monte carlo.

when you change the cam timing and retune the computer, some guys are running 8000 rpms :D

the 4.3 needs an adapter kit since it is basically a 350 with 2 cylynders lopped off. there is a kit out there to put a rwd v8 (such as the nailhead and other engines) with the fwd tranny.

the quad 4 may like to blow up, but damn, they sound awesome at high rpms. that red 88 coupe i posted has a quad 4 in it, and the car moves prettyg ood, and has gotten over 40 mpg! (its a tiny bit faster than my car)

But they're so bad! :laugh: My dad had one in his 95 Grand Am with the 5 speed (somewhat hard to find) after a complete head and head gasket I guess it was okay? Never seemed fast, got that great of mpg, or sounded good to me though :p

The 3.4 definitely sounds like the way to go then, who doesn't like 8k rpm 6 cylinders?! If you don't have the 3.8 supercharged that is lol

What about like a GN 4.3 turbo? or something of that nature like out of a cyclone/typhoon?

lol, thats what they gave me!!!

ive had 2 done now, at different times. the first time was in MI and they did not put me under. talk about a weird feeling to feel the tooth breaking apart and hearing it be sucked up the tube. this time they put me under and recovery hasnt been asbad as a ifeared. i am planning on going to work tommorrow even! we'll see how i am in the AM

I got vicadin but never needed it :laugh: Just took the heavy duty aspirin or whatever it was they gave me and that did the trick. I was ready to go later that day :cool: didn't really bother me that much.

i found a road close by that i want to video on. its fresh paved, and almost in Duluth! I drove a little bit today while working and it was awesome. maybe i'll have to get april one of these days to go video it with me :)

(not this weekend though, i'll be in the cities)

k, the road is 210 out of carlton out to 23 (near new Duluth). go as if you are gong to Jay Cook State Park. 8 miles of twisties and FRESH pavement! i drove it today in the SVT and there was many many fun turns and elevation changes. BUT, it is VERY unforgiving, with some decreasing radius turns that catch you off gaurd and a long way down to the river. thankfully, the SVT is more forgiving than the Fiero.

check it out, it is a good drive :)
