Finally finished Hightowers and oval

Dude, that looks sick man. I wish I had some black rims...and I haven't ever really been a fan of em either. I have been going back and forth on if I wanted to paint my lights black or not...I have tinted tails and black sidemarkers but stock rims. I just don't think that I could pull it off with the stock rims.
 
Yeah I think the black wheels really set them off. And I baked them open using the how to in the aest. forums area. It wasnt easy, took about 4 bakes of 4 mins to get each open. Thanks for comments.
 
Ok awsome, I tried once them whimped out thinking I was gonna break them. You may have inspired me to try again and get it right this time. Yours look amazing man.
 
You know when I was doing it I was kinda scared because they are new lights but once you keep heating it and just using a screw driver to pry apart, it comes apart really easy and then the rest is cake.
 
Cool man, I have a spare set that are badly hazed that I will practice on, then when I get those done I will use the crome insides and have them sprayed Ford UA paint code to match the car perfectly then put them in my good ones.

I will take detailed pics when I do it.

What did you choose to put them back together?
 
Well I cleaned out the old sealant (which took alot longer with the new one). Then put a good constant bead of blue/clear RTV silicone in the groove all the way around then assembled the light and RTV'd (sp) the crack where the headlight assembly and the lense connects just for extra protection. Two weeks in, a couple rains and car washes and no leaks at all. FYI I used a whole tube of RTV on each light. :D
 
Like'n the black look on your car, it's almost as black as mine lol I'll havta post up some pics of my car now that I got my new hood, wheels, and hightowers on within the next day or two...
