Fitment

I keep seeing the use of EO's and E1's. What does this mean? Thanks

Its actually a phrase we have coined. EO is the SVT from 98-98.5 and E1 is the SVT from late model 98.5-00. There were significant changes from the EO and E1 such as wheels, brakes, etc which is why we use these terms to distinguish between the two.

Looked up the oilpans on the internet and it calls for one pan for a 95-97 and another for 98-00. The retail is like $180 dollars on the earlier one which is aluminum and the later one retails for $44. I am wondering if it was a cost cutting measure and the latter is a steel pan and they still might interchange. Anyone know? Thanks Rod
