Anyone know if Contours without factory fog lights have the fog lamp relay under the dash? The old forums do not mention this. The question was never answered if they have fog light wiring either.

I have no concrete answer for you. But if others' experiences are any indication, I'd say you have a 50/50 chance the wiring is there. It's a hit or miss proposition at best. With my 98, I was one of the lucky ones that had wiring in place for heated mirrors. But I have heard others with 98s that did not have the wiring. Best I could say is to start tracing the wiring back. You might have it...or you might not.

No, you will need the relay, a new headlight switch, and the plug that goes into the middle of the headlight switch.
You will also need the schematic from the Hanes manual and probably one of the Todras service manuals.

I picked up the switch, and fog lamps w/ brackets from the local salvage yard. I'll have to run back and pick up the relay. Anything else I should need before I get started on this? I also have the service manual w/ diagrams.

Some extra wire, and did you get the plug from behind the switch you picked up also?

Yes, I have the connector for the switch. I also have extra wire. Now, I just have to go through the EVTM carefully. Thanks

If you look at the firewall under the steering wheel, tere are two panels with wires running into them, that's what you'll be looking for to run the wires into.
