I found the stock wiring under neath the front bumper. I have installed stock fogs and connected them. I have a fog light headlight switch that works. I just can't seem to locate the connection for the relay. I saw a 95 mystique in a salvage yard and found the connection for that tied into the headlight switch..

Does my car have the wiring but they ended it somewhere instead of not connecting a relay?

I can post a pic if ness.

hello, unless i'm mistaken, the fog light relay should be in the fuse box in front of the battery. check the post for "help with fuses", it is recent and tony posted a link to access for fuse/relay locations.

From what I read its attached to those metal tabs underneath. But theres no wiring thats crimped up and hidden.

actually you are correct, here is a what the ford service manual says. sorry.

i have not done this but since you said the wires were there already for the fog lights it must be pre wired. try working backwards from the other direction. remove the knee panel and then remove the headlight/mirror switch bezel and look at the diagram i posted. account for all the connectors listed on my previous posting and it's either going to be there or not. it is a possibility the previous owner wired in fogs, took them out and left the wiring. good luck.

I am trying to work backwards, its has to be there. I just can't seem to find it. I can not see the picture in your previous post earlier. It's not possible the last owner was my grandmother from it was bought new in the show room.

I'm going to take one more look.

thats cool. just pull the headlight switch, disconnect the connector and then work backwards from there, sometimes those harness' are a pain, use masking tape to identify the connectors you have already eliminated while you do this, it sometimes helps. but the headlight switch harness is a sub harness and the picture shows that the relay is located in that subharness. so that harness goes from the headlight switch/mirror switch to the fuse box.

Not sure if any of those help but thats what I see, theres no relay connection tucked under anything, its pissing me off!!

I still can't see the diagram you posted.

hello, sorry picture will not post. tried a bunch to get it to work and it will not. i can describe it to you best as possible and hope it helps you. working backwards from the headlight switch, you will have the connector for the headlight switch (1), then you will have a connector for the headlight switch illumination (bulb) (2), then you will have a connector going to the power mirror switch (3). then there would be a connecor they list as fog lamp indicator, let me detail that afterwards (4) and then lastly there will be a connector for the fog light relay (5). the connector in the picture appears to be regtagular in shape, about as wide as the headlight switch connector is tall and then it appears half as tall as it is wide. the connector for the fog lamp illumination, if you are unaware, those have a lens that fits into the far left lower portion of the instrument panel trim and of course lights up when fogs are on. if you do not have no big deal and i don't see where you would have to hook it up. i hope this helps.

I was tracing everything back to the main bundle. I do not have the relay connection or the indicator connector. I am assuming that this stuff was ran but not finished in the interior. I can't figure out what to do from here. I see everything but its like it's just not there.

I was trying to avoid doing all that wiring but I guess thats whats going to happen. I'll just buy a set of projector fogs and wire them.
