Gmail?

Sorry John. :(
Speak up if you want John's invites.

Nothing, nothing at all. Well, maybe some more invites but nothing special.

Me too!
Invites are so last year. ;) It used to be that people were dying for an invite and now, I can't get rid of them.

Yeah, that's a good way of looking at it.

the storage space is continuously increasing...doesn't have anything to do with how many people use gmail.

as far as i can tell now, the invites will avoid you having to sign up by giving your cell phone number and giving you an invite code via txt message.

I guess the invites are a good thing. I sure would hate giving out my cell number to get an email account.

Well, invites were the only way to get a gmail account back in the day, but now it really doesn't matter. I've got over 200 of them sitting around myself..

Yeah, I remember that you had to get an invite to get an account.

I started using Gmail for junk mail, but after seeing how many great features it has I made it my primary. Now my Hotmail is obsolete and my Yahoo mail is my junk mail.

Get with the program Allen!

Yes it does. If the guys that 'run' gmail extrapolate the information on how many people are 'expected' to sign up and how much storage is available and the rate at which they purchase more servers realize that only HALF the people are signing up, then realistically we could be allotted more storage.
But, this is all supposition as I currently don't work for Google.

what i'm saying is they're continuously adding storage space. just look at the gmail.google.com page, there's a counter on the bottom. soon it'll be 3gb, 4gb, 5...who knows?

I know, I've been following it, too. But I want it to increase at a quicker pace. :D See what I mean? I'm already at 22% and I seem to be filling it up quicker than it is increasing.
