I would like to recommend the following Store to purchase a set of Tires. Broadway Tire in Monona. Their Phone number is 608-222-8706. I had the pleasure of working with a nice young man by the name of Jeff (Who incidentaly is looking for an ATX for a contour). Anyway, he was very helpful in selecting tires and making sure I got the correct lug nuts. He convinced me to go with Kuhmo Ecsta AST's. I was leaning toward the Genral Exclaim UHP be said Kuhmo's were a better tire. After one week and about 360 miles, I don't have any complaints. I purchased four (4), 225-45-17tires. He charged me approx 117 per tire, mounted and balanced plus lifetime tire rotation. That was comparable to Discount Tire. I asked him matter-of-factly if Broadway and Webers use the same distributor. He said no. To his credit, he and the manager did NOT say bad things about Weber but they explain why there tires are cheaper. Anyway, I did not feel ripped off or taken advantage of. I felt very comfortable doing buisness with these people.
Incidently, I had these mounted on some 17 inch, Chromed, Ford Focus SVT Rim's. They look pretty sharp. You can let me know what you think this Saturday at Fox Lake.
