after replacing the driver side axle, I am noticing some trans fluid dripping onto the drive way with the new axle in. Is this a bit normal for a few days. I know some fluid was lost when replacing, but I filled the case up again. could having too much fluid in the trans cause a leak by the axle?

Should not leak one drop! Does an axle leak from the factory? :troutslap: Got the axle completely seated? Was the axle seal damaged?

There is a little play in it, and I mean little. if you push and pull on it, it moves a bit.

yeah, prolly bout that much. Not much more if any. Is the seal expensive to replace? or do I need to replace the whole axle??
