HDR... Not just for cars.

thanks everyone. I adjust settings manually between the photos, just make sure the tripod is locked in everyway so it will not move.

The first picture i took 7 different shots altering exposure, i can post the 7 used later on, the shots are on my other computer.

the more varying pictures you take the better your results, but you also will be changing settings more and run the risk of shifting the camera.

I'd definitely like to see the originals of one of those...

Alex, if you're in a pinch and need some fast HDR photos - your camera has auto bracketing. I shot an HDR pic of my office yesterday within 10 seconds. Go to menu -> BKT set -> step level of your choice. I have mine set to 2.0

oh wow, thanks bill. I still try and flip through the menu and the manual, i don't even think i'm at like 10% of knowing what my camera can do haha :blackeye:

even though it's just a pic of a wall...the first pic looks the best.

i went to a clients place once...a photographer, who was also an ex-graffiti "artist" and he had this giant picture of a graffiti'd wall that he did...it looked insane and i had no idea how they made it look that good but apparently it must have been an HDR pic.
