HELP!!! please - vent tube problem automatic transmission 4cyl zetec

so , bought my dads mystique from him with a bad tranny paid for the transmission and labor to replace it and it turns out the used tranny that went in , is blowing fluid up out of the filler - dipstick filler .

i read on line there is a service bulletin on this , although car is over 10 yrs old dealer don't have to fix it.


can someone show me what part of the vent tube assembly i need to change , i still have my old transmission which was completely leak free it just had internal problems. is this an easy fix?

or is there another method transmission fluid is expensive lol cant keep losing it

i was pretty surprised to see them haul the entire engine and transmission and sub frame to change the tranny... i don't want to have this done over again... that was expensive too

Figured it out... found the vent tube (closest to you when looking into the engine bay) there is a pan ... with a black tube coming from it , it was jammed into the shift linkage somehow

i just cut it free ran ... and there is vacuum on it now
