HOLY CRAP!!!

both vehicles were insured but what an insurance company wants to pay is very different then what the truck was worth it was in amazing shape and had stupid low miles

Insurance companies blow. They are near the top on my hate list.

Whatever you do, don't EVER take the first offer!!!! They are ALWAYS very low. Be firm but resonable. Try to find a simillar one and try to use that as a negotiating price. The tires probably will not make a difference, to them it's part of regular maitnance. However, what you can do is negotiate it in such a way to keep the truck, then you can take the tires and scrap the rest.

I'm not sure getting a brand new '08 F530 4X4 is a logical choice. After all the insurance co. will probably give you is around $3000-$3500. That's only enough for a downpayment or taxes, but not both. To go into a $30000+ dept over a $3500 truck makes no sence.

Good luck!

wow...do you know who this woman is?? cause if you don't get much from insurance you could try and sue personally

that's rough though man...

ya shes one of my neighbors:laugh: i dont know her personally but i know where she lives and whatnot

its not like this was my daily driver or anything. this truck was always just there in case i or a freind needed it .not really taking any money from this to buy new truck. just that if i have to buy something im gonna get something i like which is f350 or lightning

My brother is a claims adjuster for auto Owners insurance, it turns out that the adjusters are told to give the best they can give and feel is necessary, they also have the ability to give less if the customer gives the claims adjuster any hassle. I know my brother will bend the rules a little bit whenever someone is in a bad situation, Like if the car had new tires he might pay for the new useless tires if make it easy for him or something. Trust me, hassling a claims adjuster has a high possibility of getting you less then you deserve.

Sorry to hear about your truck man, why she was going that fast on a residential road I have no idea.

Damn that was perfect haulin stuff around truck. G luck with getting it sorted out. Hey at least you're not laid off and just got stuft with a $1500 medical bill for a homo kidney stone.

i beleive the f650 is one pound under the GVW requirement for a commercial license. gmc and chevy both have a truck like that too. pretty much a big rig u just dont need the creds on ur license. so anything over the 650 ull need a CDL to drive, still sweet though. im sure someone will corect me if im wrong.
