How bad is this damage

Its been in the classifieds for a month and I havent gotten any questions on it so I really dont care if I tell people what I got it for. Heck I can buy it for a dollar and if the KBB value of the car is 7k I can sell it for 6k and some people would see it as a deal. Besides CEG isnt the only place where people buy SVTs.
dont sweat it sam its worth what you are asking. there is a 2k in ga with 87k miles needs motor clean as hell on cl for 1200 bucks:shrug: so if i bought it put a 3l in it i should only sell it for 3k? ha try 6 or more ya know

i don't agree, your going to have 3-4k tied up in a totalled car. when svtc's that have never been wrecked are going for that price, and cheaper sometimes. you don't know the owner,so you can't honestly say you even trully know the history of the drivetrain.
i think you should put some more thought into it rather than just doing it b/c your excited to have a svtc. part it,make more money than you spent on it,and use that money towards one that wasnt wrecked. and owned by some teenager/early 20 yearold.

I bought the car mainly for the parts, because I thought I'd get a salvage title. Now that I know I'd have a regular title if it were ever repaired, I'm gonna see how much it would costs to fix. If it can done for under $3200.00 total, including original purchase price, parts, labor and paint (and I think with the right connections it can) it's a go.

I have all the receipts for the nearly new transmission, but none for the engine. At this point I'm not even sure if it's an SVT engine. All I know is I was told it was a $4500.00 crate engine and there's some evidence of that.

If its not an SVT engine, then I can't see any sense in getting it fixed up.

the little black box looks like one of those ebay boxes for increasing horsepower type of deal.

used to lower intake temp than it actually is.
