Hi, my car is at the mechanics, oil drained. I want to bring it home to work on it here. How can I tow it? Apparently the Mystique isn't supposed to be towed with a rope. Am I right? What are easy ways to do it?

you can pull the car with a rope, but it isn't that safe. get a trailer, flat bed, etc to tow the car.
 
or the crazy idea of puting oil in and driving it home... just saying...
 
I never liked finishing other peoples work. Too many questions. Anyways. I wouldnt tow it with a rope. I know in this area that is illegal. Also if the drive wheels are on the ground and you dont have trans fluid you could damage the trans. I would suggest the safest way fo towing it with at least the drive wheels off the ground. You can rent 2 wheel dollies or trailers that get all 4 wheels off the ground from u-haul. Or if you have AAA or know someone who does. Have them tow it for you.
 
I towed my SVT with a strap last week. Because I refused to pay $60 to get it towed 4 blocks. Stupid shift tower bolt.:mad: But I would have used a flatbed if it was further away. Plus SVT's look great on flatbeds. LOL
 
A dolly is your friend. Like was already said, Uhaul's got'em...not alot of $$ either. If it's relatively short in distance it's a lot of work to get it up on a flatbed, but that's my preference for long hauls.
