I rented one for a week (and 1500 miles!!!) back in Feb. Picked it up from SFO, drove to San Diego, Vegas, and then back to San Fran.
I fricking loved it. Mega stiff suspension, but just right in my opinion. It handled better than I expected and it was pretty damn quick for an auto.
Great combined sound from the intake and the exhaust. We cruised everywhere at the ton, and it was nice and slient until you leant on the pedal. I thought the brakes were ****e though, and the dashboard quality is something you'd see on a 7 year old Korean car.
I didnt really care though cause I had such a blast driving it. People pointed and started, and mouthed 'shelby' as you drove by. The first time I parked it, we stopped at an 'in and out' burger joint, and within minutes the car had a crowd around it.
Even with the traction control I still managed to get a nice power slide at 35mph through a big juction.
Rent one, and drive it like its not yours
