I shouldn't be trolling much more.

The tires on them are pretty...dead. Either dry rotted with tons of tread, or bald in the center.

those are the best tire's i've ever had on a car though. Sumitomo HTR Z's. I know they're in crap shape now...but understand those have been on the car since may 2002 (Spring Zing)! There's probably about 40k miles on them!

Only reason the summer rims are still on is cause it's been summer like until a week or two ago, lol!

Oh I'm not bashing them, I'm just saying they look like they've gone through some rough times.

If you swear by them, I'll definitely see what they'll run me.

definitely have. as far as swearing by them...the cobra i'm planning to buy has drag radials on the back, and i'm probably gonna look to sumitomo for those.

i'm curious to know if the pressure in them is still good...since they've been sitting since the summer. as beat up as they are they never leaked on me either.

EDIT: AND they were cheap! Like $80-90 a piece. Come to think about it i dunno WTF i bought yokohama's for the front on the big rims...i think i was trying to find a close match for the other 2 tires on there. Which were supposed to be AVS knockoffs or something. i dunno...but yeah, sumitomo = good all around tire and very durable. i dunno what they have in terms of all season tires though. i always wanted a set of blizzaks once i had the "winter rims" though.

I've had both Blizzaks and Dunlop Wintersports, and loved the Wintersports...I could climb trees with those things...

I've had the Blizzaks on a few cars too - they work really well  . On my Jettas (both) , I'm running Dunlop Graspics (snow/ice tire) . They're a great tire , especially for the price (way less than the Blizzaks) .

well the lsd makes a vast improvement regardless. i've always only had the z rated tires, and we've had some pretty wicked blizzards in the past.

Here's a few you can play with...have fun...:)

I guess you really could climb trees.
I've ordered a set of the WinterSports so I can have fun too.

So sometime today or tomorrow...I'm going to re-take this picture with my camera and tripod. I only had my phone with me, so this is what came up.

Don't worry Glenn, enjoy the new wheels...dirt always washes off...;)

Let me tell you, those wheels are a BEOTCH to keep clean! In between the top of the spokes, there's really only room for one finger, and near the center you literally have to floss with a ripped up t-shirt or something else thin. The good part is they're big enough that you can get your hand between the rotor and inside of the rim so you can clean that too.

Still, there was dirt in the aformentioned places when i handed it over, because the mexicans at the car wash don't go into that kinda detail. But yeah, get ready for hurting fingers when you clean the wheels!

OMG!! WTF are you doing to that poor car?? Jesus H Chris you are just f'ng that whole thing up! I can't believe you would offend all of us by posting a picture of an SVT in such disarray. My opinion of you has just dropped off a cliff.

Oh, BTW, you have a jack cover missing.
