I'm interested in these.

For those that want SVT logos on there, You can always order blanks and have parkedcar make some sort of vinyl overlay for them. Maybe someone can ship a set to him so that he can make perfectly sized vinyls.

Would they put the build numbers on just the front or the back or would they do all of them?

Also if we could get a sample pic of the writing used for the build numbers, that would be owsome.

Since I don't have a Contour, I am still waiting for someone to confirm that the following dimensions are ideal for the plates:

FRONT 25" x 1.75"
REAR 8.75" x 1.75"

I went out an measured everything. The front measurement is perfect. The rear is fine too, but you could probably get away with 9" x 1.75". Maybe even 9.5", but I'd say leave at 9" and have a buffer.

Great news!

So now my question is what are we doing for the layout of the sill plates? Personally I'd like something suttle. I like the grooves in the picture you showed before, but I wouldn't want them too deep as then they would be a pain to clean out all the time. I also like the idea of etching the SVT logo in the center like that of the SVT Focus sill plates, but you said they had issues with copyright laws. If that truly is the case can we have them made with a blank section in the center of the front sill plates and then we can get them etched ourselves elsewhere... I don't know just throwing out ideas. If anything else I am find with just having grooves running the length of the sill plates as I had mentioned at the beginning of this post.

Just heard back a minute ago:

Gary,

I would prefer if you provided the font for build numbers, we can do just about anything on that. We can do the shallow groove. We are also working on a design to introduce just for this group buy.

Also, you will not want the plate to conflict with the weather stripping. It's not really for water reasons but mainly for sound (air leaking in or out).

Regarding pricing, if we get more than 10 sets on the order we expect to ship them out for under $100 and that includes the shipping cost. To order just the fronts will be about $25-$30 cheaper than ordering the entire 4 piece set.

And in case you missed it before, etching build numbers is free!

As was the case with the aluminum racing pedals, that option is not officially available. See that thread for more info, and PM me if you're confused.

And.... here they are! The middle of the front sill plate is where the etching will appear, if chosen. The free etching will be a Super Value Totally!!!!!

We made the first set at the end of last week. These should be easy to clean also.
