Wow this really blew up while I was gone!

I sent another email off to my Ford UK parts contact to ask him if we can get a better price since I would be ordering 22 of each part. As soon as I hear back from him I will start an official GB as there is no question that there is enough interest in this.

Given the concerns expressed by others about the Euro equivalent parts possibly not being an exact match, should 1 set be ordered to confirm the correctness of the parts before jumping in full bore?

That's probably a good idea. Honestly, it would probably be pretty awful if we ordered 22 sets and found out that they do not fit. I'd be willing to pitch in for a test set.

F5RZ5450463A and F5RZ5450462A do not cross refer to 1045576 & 1045578
They cross refer to 1664521 & 1665422
Unfortunately these parts are no longer available
1045576 & 1045578 are available but i am not able to clarify compatability unfortunately

I'm trying to find what 1664521 and 1665422 are for. My girlfriend was just translating off a Polish Mondeo forum for me.
 
It also looks like there were some numbers inverted. The first part number says 1664521 and the second 1665422.

Just testing similar numbers, 1665421 shows a cabin air filter for the Mondeo so my guess is the numbers should actually be:

1664521 and 1664522.

I'll be placing the order from Trevor next week. This will be an expensive expedition if it doesn't pan out. Total cost I'm ball parking to be about $150 to order the initial test fit set.

Well that's for the first order. Shipping blows. If we go through with this it will all get shipped at once so it won't be as bad. However that said £57.00 is about $88.05... so yea it will still probably be ~$100 for the set if the GB goes through.
