Illinois did it, why can't we...window tint!

Back when I lived in Wyoming and had a Daytona, I had 5% all the way around. Plus louvres on the back. At night, I had to look behind the car before I got in. :D Damn but it looked good blacked out! It was dark enough that you could pull up next to a cop in broad daylight, pop the top on a cold one and start drinking, and he'd never see it. My buddy regularly got tanked while I drove him around. I'm slightly beyond legal in TX with 20% on the front doors (I think 35% is the legal max). Tint rocks. Especially in hot and sunny climes.

I'm rootin' for ya!

i have 5% allaround stilll not pulled ovee  but my winsheild dose have only a tint strip but that is 5% paset the leagal line to so i gusse as long as u dont drive like an ass ur ok:shrug:

hah I Just got cop'd for my tint for the first time since I started to tint my vehicles a couple years ago. For the most part if your not driving like a jackass and have your window rolled down when they come to the window they will not say anything (from my experience). I do understand the law, if I was a cop I'd like to see if you're trying to hide narcotics, alchy, let alone a gun you plan on using on the officer!

you sound like a smart one...it must be great looking like a bad a$$ with your dark tints while running over small children and animals because you "cant see S#!?"

If your small child is playing in the street at night that's just bad parenting:laugh:
