I love the hood, strongly considering it... Not sold on the trunk though... it is a really nice piece don't get me wrong, but I honestly HATE the 98+ tail light setup and probably will not get a trunk unless you guys can do a pre 98.

Ugh ok put me down for one tentatively. It all depends if we can get the 10+ or not. Sigh, why are all these group buys happening all at once!? Lol @ tax return season. Luckily my father can paint pretty well and has a paint gun so all I have to do is buy paint and sand sand sand away. (I won't put a part on a car that isn't the same color as the rest of the car). I'm going to want the hood only though. I'm gonna go with a pre-98 trunk with the spoiler lip.

Got some good news for my So Cal friends, if the gb goes through you guys can the hoods up for $310 on the other hand not so good for my canadian friends......shipping to Canada would be $410 plus $100 for brokers fee and can only be shipped to a business address.....
 
Well hopefully the nuckers are close to the border or know someone in the US who is willing to drive a few hours for beer. How much is it going to be to the Northeast? About the same price as originally quoted?
 
Yes, hood shipped in the U.S $460, trunk $410 if you can pico the hood up its $310....To Canada $510 shipped to a business address

you say 'attached' - does that mean it can be removed? If so- these are being made to order right? Maybe we can ask if i can get one w/o the spoiler? Basically a mirror copy of our trunk now?
I would really like to get both, but don't really want a hood w/o the trunk :shrug:
 
No they cannot be removed by just unscrewing the spoiler off. Its a molded on.No these aré not made to order they aré already made....Maybe i can ask him if he plans on doing an oem in the future, wich i doubt. Just get a pre 98 trunk with spoiler and call it a day :shrug:

I spoke with poncho in the past through emails on ebay about having them made in silver c.f.
It was about a year ago when I was looking to buy them off of ebay.
I'll be getting my SVT back this spring, and would love to mod it as soon as I get it back...he he he.
I remember there were some minor fitment problems some people had with the hoods back in the day,
just a hair to short front to back firc... Has Poncho fixed the issue...?
either way I'd be down, just a bigger pain in the ace to fit :mad:...

P.S. Dose anybody know if the trick "autovation" (sp) flush style hood clips are still available?
 
I Never spoke to poncho about having them made a diferent color, I guess you can have that but you would have to speak with him personally to get that done, on the other hand we still don't have enough people to get them at this low price. HOP ON IT PEOPLE!!!

Hmmm I'll consider the silver CF hood, not the trunk though. Don't know about everyone else but I really REALLY do not like the way the nascar trunk looks. Silver CF would be sexy though...

Seriously we need to get MORE people in on this. Wth, nobody wants a nice hood for their CSVT?!?
 
are washer nozzles able to be attached and aimed properly? is the vent already cut-out? does anyone have a picture of what the hood looks like from the driver's seat?
