IT's ABOUT TIME!!!

OH ya ive flown in and out of Thun many times... Sounds like a meeting place to me lol.... When i was doing the accords we had about 20 show out to alki beach. makes for nice pics. But im up for anything too.... ppl can get some cash together and we can meet at one of the gocart race centers either in seattle or kent....

Well could meet there but like a said its technically my cousins shop so have to check with him... but im down for anything really... we had a nice day up here i WA so this weekend would have been great... but we are running out of good days here fellas! Dont want to meet in the rain or snow now do we?

Back on the road

Back on the road

Defiantly don't want to meet in the snow, my tires are worthless on anything other than dry pavement.
The good news is that I got the car's suspension fixed this weekend, so I'm back in for a meet. All it took was some hammering, a bit of JB weld, and another car to drive back and forth over a bent control arm . Just need to get it re-licensed as a salvage and I'll be driving again.

Now that sounds like a how to in the making.... LOL

No, just the control arm .
It actually worked really well, its close enough to the original shape that I can adjust for any wobbles with the camber adjustment washers (which are held together by JB weld and prayers).
This was my favorite kind of auto repair... free

So lets get something going in the coming weekends to celebrate

Now that sounds like we are getting back on track......

OK here's a new deal in two weeks we meet up somewhere in south west Wash and do a little run ending with some grub and gab and good times.

Not the 25th pls!.. some time before would be nice:eek:... ill be gone on the 25th and want to be at a meet this time... also i want to be infront of the purplish car because when that spot weld fails i want to be infront, not behind u lol!... but lets do something to celebrate for sure!... like this weekend?... the 10th i belive?

I'm thinking we should have both..... A bit o fun and then some grub and gab..... Ya, that just the way I am I want it all!!!!!

SO lets kick around a few ideas here. I am willing to drive a bit north for the meet, but I know almost nothing about that area sooooo throw out some ideas folks the questions are where to meet & what to do? the when we have.... 10/18 say 10 am.

AF

So the Date has been set at 10/18/08 at 10 am.... Now we need to figure out where and what.... Seattle? or Tacoma?...:shrug:... In seattle they have Gameworks, which is off the chain, and they have food and a bar, even though im under 21 :rolleyes:... lol but for all you older chaps... ? good places to take some pics and stuff:shrug:

OK, here's my idea:

Meet at the intersection of Hwy 12 on I-5 exit 68. Hang out until everyone arrives, then drive east to Randle. There is a really good diner there. After some grub and thorough harassing of the waitresses, we can split up.

People from north of there can continue east on Hwy 12, then catch Hwy 123 (which goes into Mt Rainier National Park), then catch Hwy 410 which ends up in Enumclaw. I understand that's an amazing drive!

People from south of there can head south on NF-25 (which goes around the back side of Mt St Helens), then catch NF-90, then continue on Hwy 503 spur, then head south on Hwy 503 into Vancouver. This IS an amazing drive! I broke in one of my clutches on this trip...

Hope for nice weather. The roads are twisty either way!

Good God man! I thought this was a meeting... Not a Bull Run lol, but im down for whatever the other guys want to do... but this is a good sugestion, unless its raining... Any other ones?:shrug:

Even if it rains it will be a beautiful drive.

If the weather REALLY isn't cooperating, or if you don't want to make the long run around you can just head back down Hwy 12 to I-5 and head home.

As for me, I'm not sure if I'll head north or south. That'll probably be a game time decision at the diner.
