Thats the first thing I thought. Christ hope that didn't happen. Did you have a slip joint or flange on the down pipe were the exhaust meets? If slip joint it might be ok, if flange :help:
 
Dude, that absolutely sucks. If there is one hint of a performance issue with that car, you'd better get the entire value of that car back, not just the repair costs.
 
They are paying for EVERYTHING. I got it to the muffler shop and started it up, let it run for a min and everything sounded good, the turbo was whissling and I hit it once and the BOV went off at a upper rpm, Stazi what rpm should the bov go off when letting off the gas? But it did sound amazing. They will call me either tomorow or monday with when it will be done, they have to replace the mufflers, get a resinator and make all new exhaust pipes. And the guy said he can fix the carbon box there at his shop rather than deleting it.

With my RFL, I would nearly have to take it to redline for it to go off.
 
Ok cool I am a noob at this,lol It did sound killer though. Good thing I didnt order a blue weave imrc cover for it though, it wouldnt have been able to work with the intercooler piping.
 
just saw this, sorry to hear about the trouble, nothing like really really waiting on somthing and then something makes you wait longer. hope everything works out and you enjoy it!:cool:
 
The BOV won't really go off unless you are boosting and you can't build boost just reving it up since you don't have anti lag or two step, etc... so basically, you haven't heard anything yet if you were just reving up the car. It may have been bleading some air but you haven't REALLY heard it go off! Wait until you hear that thing blow at 12 or 14 psi! It becomes addicting. :)
