Joe's Powder Co. (pricing listed inside)

I removed them ;)

I am not coating UIMs anymore. They outgas like a motha and ruining my coating. It just wastes time when I blast them, clean, coat, have it blister the coating, blast again, clean again, and just end up painting them anyway.

I have had luck with about 1/2 of them, but I'm not chancing it anymore. $60 for an electrostatic automotive painted UIM.

Here is a UIM we just painted midnight blue metallic

I have extra SVT UIMs here, so if you need to do a core payment I can set that up ;). You have to send me a picture of your UIM before I agree to do a core setup.

Awesome looking :) Actually first time I saw it I was at work on a crap computer. When I got home looked again and it looked even better!!!!!!!!!

Here is another business venture I am in for my boombox brothers...... Replica straps with zinc plated clips and buckles. I make everything but the strap material and the rivets.

is zinc plating a powder? It doesnt look like the typical zinc I am used to seeing, I think of zinc being gold mirrorish/hologram looking

The pieces were sandblasted then sent off to a local galvanizing/zinc plating company that we deal with for my work. From what I know, it is a liquid form that is heated up and the parts are tumbled in it. I know what you are talking about with thinking the zinc coating is oily looking, but not in this case. I think that stuff is called something else.

can you do something with the factory wheels for me? they are chipping really bad and Im just interested in a gunmetal kind of color

Im from milwaukee by the way

out of curiosity, do you ever find yourself in junkyards, or happen to have a pre98 zetec valve cover around?

I'm interested in getting a pre98 zetec valve cover done in the color close to lazer red but haven't picked one up. The place I go only charges $15 for a valve cover but its out of town and I only find myself there maybe once every 6 months. I thought if its not an inconvenience for you to pick one up on your end it could save on some shipping (International as I'm in Canada).

If you dont do that kind of thing then I dont mind waiting until I find myself in Calgary next to get one from the pick-N-pull and ship it out for PC.

obviously I'm in no rush.
