and the biggest surprise was a painting of my car, my gf's bro is an artist for THQ(video game company...he use to work for EA)...kid's an ubelieveable artist, ill post a pic up tomorrow of it

Practical presents this year.

some money from grandparents
totally awesome 1940s refinished kitchen set from parents (drawer-leaf table, six chairs, hutch), also a shirt, tie, tieclip and a winter jacket.

I gave sis a car charger and jacket for her iPod, mom an optical mouse, dad a movie (Close Encounters), and a replacement roof for the Miata (well, in the form of money). Sister also gets a PowerBook G3 I've been repairing, when it's completely fixed (needs new hinges).

Lets see..... I got a waffle maker, with batter, syrup, and oil. 2 Farm and Fleet gift cards for my dremel I'm going to get tomorrow. Some money, candy, a $25 gas gift card, a craftsman magnetic dish for my tool box, and some craftsman pic tools.

Oh.... and a Viper 791xv for myself MUhhwhahahahah!! I just got that sucker put in finally tonight! I'll post a vid of it later, full alarm and remote start on the SVT Contour now! Now I can finally get a system sometime.... if I ever get enough money around for one.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. Cause its not new, and might have been another ebay find. No resisdue, :shrugs: . Still pretty funny though. Now all I need are few more hoses,beakers, a burner, and a magnetic stirring bead and I can create things that will blow a hole in the new garage's roof. lol

Got the best gifts of all from my grandparents...
They paid my SVT off for me. All 6700 that was left on it. They also bought me a 19" plasma widescreen moniter for my comp and some detailing stuff. My rents got me a portable DVD player, dvd recorder, and some car stuff for when I am working on it. Tools and such. Got a few gift cards to autozone and murrays (all we have around here) and some food from my sister. Gotta love food.

Gifts for myself in the next few weeks will be finishing off my basement (going for the cabin look with a wood finish and stone gas fireplace), buying some 90mm Hella projectors and possibly a 7" LCD touchscreen complete with CD/DVD/radio/navigation capabilities.

I rececived some clothes since I ruin all mine by working around the house and the car. I hate shopping so I let her buy my clothes and I got a gas weedeater from my parents hinting that I need to stop borrowing theirs..................lol but now I have no excuse to cut the grass.........
