BTW this unit just drill and use some self tapping screws.

I still have my old engine block (and oil cooler) sitting on a table in my garage at home. I never got that cooler to you... lol
 
WTB - I need 4-5 of the clips that hold the OEM mesh in the rear bumper. If someone has gone to the Stazi mesh or whatever the hell it is and has the clips kicking around it would be appreciated. Their on backorder from Mexico or something right now from Ford.

If, and when I get my mesh (Long Story), You can have mine. Don't know how long that'll be though.

Right now I'm just gauging interest in this.. if I don't get the price I want, I'm going to keep them.

Anyway, like the title says I'm gauging interest in selling my 4x108 Volk TE-37's. Absolutely legit, and I've been told Rays Engineering only produced 10 sets of these EVER in our bolt pattern. Now, as CEG is the poor house, I don't know if anyone will pony up the money for these, but I'm looking to get $1800 for them. I paid over $2000 for them. I got my pooper stretched badly on shipping from Cali.. not made in North America and they're wheels.

These are 17x7.5 with a +40 offset, weigh only 16lbs and are super duper rare. They are still in the boxes I received them in. Only took 1 wheel out a few times for pics and to show them off to my friends. I may put these in the regular classifieds at some point, but I'd rather sell them to someone local so I can see these be put to good use.

I'm going to list it on here first, then in a couple of days I'm going to list them on kijiji. If you know anyone locally who'd want them, please feel free to tell them about this ad. I really want these wheels to stay on a Contour and local so I can atleast see them lol. I wanna list them on Kijiji, but I don't want some random douche getting them, though if I get no response on here I'm gonna have to list it on there.

WTB stock exhaust for V6 Contour. Be it SVT or otherwise. Also open to a aftermarket exhaust. Just needs to be in good shape. PM me with details of what you have.

The Good
- daily driver (until recently)
- stock engine starts fine, runs well, pulls hard , idles smoothly.
- no oil consumption (I do not need to add any oil between changes).
- no accidents
- 1 owner
- no leaks or drips
- leather interior good (except for dash warpage common to this vehicle, and parking brake boot has come loose)
- all power windows work.
- power sunroof works.
- B&M short shifter – nicer throw than the stock shifter
- A/C blows cold
- very little underside rust.
- always used Mobil 1 synthetic oil since engine break-in
- newish battery
- newish starter
- brakes are about midlife – should be okay for a while (replaced pads and rotors last year).
- will throw in a metal impeller water pump (original still running)

The Not so Good
- parking brake needs new cable
- some minor rust along inside bottom of rear driver door
- needs tires and alignment
- front lower control arms and/or tie rods should probably be replaced due to bushing wear.
- some paint cracking on hood.
- rear sway bar temporarily disconnected since the bushings were making noise and links need to be replaced. (Aussie bar – I also have the stock bar)
- minor scuffing on underside of front spoiler.
- dash warpage
- I suspect the thermostat is sticking open since its slow to warm up on cool days

My 98.5 is a little tender at the rear jack points. When I saw your pictures of it jacking up the whole side of the car from the middle thought it would be a good investment
 
No problem man. If you want to get the back of the car up, there's truly no need to jack it up from the rear jack points. Since it's a FWD car, the weight distribution of the car is so far forward that the rear end will automatically come up if you jack the car up from a little more forward than halfway. Unless you only want the rear end of the car up, then jack it up from the back.
