Mirko splitter no longer there, as the streets of NJ didnt like it.

There is one negative: a noise is developing on the passenger side of the engine where the serpentine belt is...I havent had it checked out yet. But the engine is running perfectly, idles perfectly, good compression and decompression response. Suspension is tight, so is the steering.

it seems that its a pulley...not the engine..car will have also new rear brakes. No noise and new rear brakes, so *** PM FOR PRICE ***

Free 1998 se 2.5l duratec manual

Hey guys before I donate the car entirely just want to see if anyone wants to come pick it up. I have a 1998 Contour SE V6 2.5L Duratec Manual transmission. 140k miles.

Has new battery, rack and pinion, alternator. Will need a new suspension, brakes, tires if you plan on driving it. Doesnt start sometimes and hasnt recently. My guess is fuel pump or coil. It does crank just wont turnover. Located in Queens, New York.

For Sale - Contour stuff

I'm clearing out my extra Contour stuff to raise money for my Shoebox Ford hot rod project . I was saving this stuff "just in case" I get another Contour , but I'm letting it go to help speed up my project . Some stuff I have pics of , I'll have to add pics of the rest later . PM me if you're interested in anything . If I don't get back to you right away , don't worry - it's just because I don't live on the internet anymore , lol .


Pre-98 console armrest lid - Tan cloth . I had this instally in my CSVT until a leather one found me .

Complete snow tire setup for Contours - Bridgestone Blizzaks - 195/65/15 with around 10/32 throughout . Steel wheels with hubcaps - This setup WILL FIT a CSVT as well as all other stock Contiques . Tires are unmounted at this point . If I get them remounted them it'll cost you more . LOCAL PICKUP ONLY !!

Sunvisors for early Contour - Tan in color - both have lighted sliding mirrors . I got these to mod my 2k CSVT , as I think they're nicer visors . They never got installed , so here they are .

Pre-98 Sail Panels - in good used condition , ready to bolt on !

I'm sure there's probably more , but that's all I came across so far .

Test pipe w/o cat. Never installed, but out of box. Will get back to you shortly as to which flange it has.

Edit: 2 bolt, and I imagine it's V6 specific.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that my old '99 CSVT is up for sale on eBay. I'm pretty friendly with the current owner. He's a mechanic and has taken care of the car from what I can tell. FWIW, it was the lowest mileage, smoothest running, Contour that I've owned. Just had a mild transmission issue. Most likely a synchro if I remember correctly. Definitely worth checking out. His reserve is a little bit high, but I'm sure you could message him with an offer. His name is Chris.

Hi all. I'm selling a set of Eo's. 4 Wheels, , w/ all center caps. 2 of the wheels have bit of tire left. Winterforce winter tires. I was driving ok w/ them until end of Jan. Other 2 tires are shot. These were the Pearl's Winter shoes, Sam prob. won't need em.:laugh:

I would prefer local buyer, really don't wanna deal w/ shipping them.
I could also bring them to Carlisle if that helps.

WTB or trade Looking for a good shifting pre 98 shift box (the part under the shift lever not the whole trans)
 
WTS guage cluster from my '99 SVT. I forget all the specifics of it, but it lights up blue or green. Just flip the switch and you can change between the two colors.
