Magnecor

No problems for 6 months. Got a misfire code, removed the wire to check the plug, now the black boot won't stay clipped onto the plug anymore?????? Almost like it shrank! I swear, I washed it in cold water. Demon's testimonies and others like it are what convinced me to buy them in the first place. Got mine when the first few issues seemed to be surfacing, don't know that I would get them again.

I really think things have changed. I mean do yours sit 1/4" above the valve cover?!

mine do sit above the valve cover, but so did my stock ones. I have never had a misfire with either. I just got mine maybe 2 months ago. They were not sitting on a shelf anywhere either, as I had to wait for them to be made. I swear by magnecor. On my mustang, I was constantly burning through wires with my turbo headers, I switched to magnecor and the car ran better than ever. I never had a problem (my FR wires were gone after a few hundred miles) for thousands of miles. In fact, I had those little fiberglass boots on both sets, and I burned threw them on both sets. The FR wires cracked and misfired. The magnecors did crack eventually (they were touching the headers!) but they NEVER misfired, even with the wire being cracked from the heat.
but as far as contours go, I have not had a problem, not even through two autocrosses with constant high rpm in second gear, and one was in the rain.

Operator error? LOL. The plug wires suddenly develop a hesitation/buck and upon removal on of the boots rips in half? Sorry, not my fault.

I think a change in quality is the culprit. Demons are very old, all that have been failing are under or around 2 years old. Fitment has become a problem, and more and more users are reporting problems.
