Maserati MC12 in the Snow!

The jealousy here is funny to me. I applaud the guy for actually driving the car. Cars like that are toys; expensive toys, but toys none the less, and toys are meant to be played with.

It's a car. It's meant to be driven:rolleyes:

yes its a car thats what its meant for i hate watching barret-jackson auctions and these rich idiots buy cars just so they can look pretty in a damn garage.

Aaaahh 5ooo pounds worth of damage who cares when you can buy a 300,000 pound car and go and have the balls to drive it in the winter snow....

eh, so it gets stuck.

when i was working at the BMW/Benz dealership in college, we got a diablo in. it was around christmas, and from chicago. he drove it up in a bad snow storm.

how bout these guys with lambos?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcFVqFmqRhE

they are just cars. i use to ask the sme thing when somone would come in with a sl600 sport in the middle of winter. i amsways asked "if they have that much money, why not get something else for winter?" a service writer put it into perspective with the comment "they are just cars to them, like a honda accord is to the rest of us"

if the guy wants to drive his supercar in the elements, there is nothing stopping him. at least it probably wont rust, as it probably doesnt have much steal :D

I hate putting unessecary miles on my Mustang. I'm like the guy who drinks his wine while watching his porsche sitting in the garage. Somtimes I get more satisfaction just sitting there drinking a beer and looking at, while thinking how sweet it is. That and the fact I really do have a porsche sitting in my garage to look at

The rock chips make the car look meaner.. dear God :nonono:

I like what the dude who did the most expensive detail on that same maserati said.. he has a client who sits in his garage with a glass of wine and just looks at his Porsche.

I actually kind of agree. While I find it really dumb that he took that particular car out in the snow like that, I still would have no qualms about driving a few hundred miles to go to a racing event.

I dont really care for porsches anymore. there not that nice to me anymore unless there all fixed up like the Ruf porsches.

i hate that show. they do nothing but critizie american cars and say they arent refined enough. total BS. plus what iddiot ddrives a million dollar car in the snow?? Dumb if you ask me

I think you're thinking of Top Gear (Clarkson in particular) and even then it's usually tongue in cheek comedy. Fifth Gear gave the "best new fast car" award to the Z06, an american car. And in all honesty, american cars generally suck major ass compared to Euro cars.

X2. There is a time and place to drive the hell out of the car. He was in the right place, just at the wrong time. He had a new toy he wanted to play with. Big deal.
