I take it you took the hearse to this show?

I would say its a fair loss too .... not that it would have mattered but I was starting to think I would have walked away with 1st place. so I am humbled ... besides I have never placed at a show outside of Carlisle so thats pretty cool in itself.

haha, thanks for the shout out (mine's the bastard green one all by itself under the tree).

I loved that "MINT" t-bird with the matching trailer. The cobra R was pretty sweet too.
 
Do you have any more pics? Looking for a better pic of the cruiser, the orange/red Mach 1 that you just have the engine bay shot of. Also I think that Continental is pretty ghetto but clean.
 
BrApple's car shoulda won; the cop car was nothing special.
You're right, that '79 Capri RS with the TRX wheels (!) was awesome.
My GLX was third in a three car class, WooHoo!

Glad to see all you Contour people are keeping the forum and your cars going. Maybe I'll run into youse guys at a show. Take care....

well as normal this just shows that most don't understand the SVT Contour ... although some did know what they where looking at.

should of stop by and said hi.

yeah you would think so .... I most likely would of but really haven't thought about it. And if Luca of all people doesn't mind then why should I :shrug:

I wanted to take the other car but with the electrical issues I have started solving, I wasn't comfortable driving that far with it. And with the rain the we got ...not that I wanted to be in the rain with either car ...

lmao .... yeah I just never got around to removing it. but that car does have alot of sticker under the hood ...


plus I am not as bad as some. some have about 8 years of carlisle stickers across the top of the windshield. the really old ones are all white and they slow fade into color as you get to the newer ones :laugh:
